JOWATHERM 236.50 Polyolefine-reiniger

Hot-melt cleaner on PO base used for cleaning melting tanks at edgebanding machines.

Usage:

• removal of dirt and burned EVA adhesives
• removal of adhesive residues in melting and coating equipment

Characteristics:

Jowat 236.50 is a colourless melt cleaner (granulate). It helps to remove EVA adhesives in melting equipment.

Application:

Drain the melting tank and clean it from old EVA adhesive with a wooden spatula. The adhesive should be removed almost completely manually, not using metal tools otherwise you damage the teflon surface.

Add enough Jowat 236.50 – enough to immerse the ribs in the tank. Subsequently, warm up Jowat 236.50 to a temperature of 180–200 ° C and let it work freely when the roller is on. The burns from the hard-to-reach parts of the tank and roller will gradually release. The appropriate time for the process is about 45 - 60 min.

After cleaning, drain the product from the tray and remove the all residues by using a wooden spatula. It must not be mixed with EVA adhesives.

We recommend to repeat this procedure once every two months.

Packaging and storage:

Store in the original packaging in a dry and cold place at temperatures of +15 to +25 °C.
